I was referring to 2 out of every 3 posts over there making derogatory comments about Essendon despite it being a time when our clubs appear to be cooperating.

Still think saints is by far the most likely destination for JC, even though today's developments certainly strengthen your position... But please don't embarrass yourself by entertaining the ridiculous notion that Essendon would pick him up in the PSD, it would just result in another lengthy and expensive but ultimately futile court case for you guys.

If he goes PSD he ends up at St Kilda 100%
 
PSD is clearly not going to happen whether he ends up at St Kilda or Hawthorn.

Pointless even talking about it.

Worth noting that in the first scenario, we still have four selections in the first 25 as well- 4,5, 23 and 25.

It's fantastic either way for us.

mate... you really should wipe your chin after your performance in this thread... your club tried to opportunisticly bend us over and you got served by a club who outclasses yours in every way... keep babbling on though as for as thick as you are, you are equally entertaining...

You really want to read derogatory comments head over to the COLA board and see what they are saying about us.

I meant back down at the trade table. As in not accept a low ball offer from the Saints then use the threat of the PSD to make Carlisle choose Hawthorn.

Same, just because I think we'd be running off like bandits having 2 of parish, curnow or francis in 1 draft.

I think the deal will get done with the saints personally, but I just think now we have more leverage in how the deal goes. Saints will need to work it out or risk losing him, indications is that they want to work it out.
 
The saints had the chance to do pick 5 deal on Monday. They've stuffed us and Carlisle around. No way we give them another pick with picks 15&18 on the table. It's pick 5 & Ross now or pick 5 & 42 for Carlisle & 59.

They can upgrade our 4th rounder to a 3rd as well. #### em!
 
this all sounds good the hawks deal. but what if tomorrow Carlisle comes out and says he only wants to play at st kilda.... it could get really messy if they wont give up 5.

Don't need to over egg the pudding. They already look like idiots, we come off as reasonable by giving up pick 25, which is only a 35% chance of working out anyway.

Just get the deal done while we've got momentum because, as we've seen today, things can change very quickly.
