Take all our picks and see if they can be used to trade up. Points are more valuable to clubs like GWS who will be making academy bids.

Or GC17? Imagine swapping 15 & 18 for pick 3 and getting 3 74 instead of 4&5...make it happen Disco..

just more speculation that can only be judged in hindsight when either nobody remembers or cares. & if todays talk is to believed, 5 was never going to be an option so is irrelevant anyhow.

Agreed. All we have to do is not back down as we have a pick before the Saints in the PSD
 
I love it how those chirpy Saints fans came in here and talked big about how they are the one's with all the power and how Essendon to take a shit deal or else PSD. The silence now is just deafening. Not all Saints fans but those that came in here and were told to jog on; 'What a pack of complete and utter downhill skiers.'

Yes the draft is week, at the bottom end, not the top 30 or so spots. It is certainly not off the cliff status after pick 10.
Having 4 15 18 23 25 will be a sensational result and who knows maybe we can wrangle a bit of late trading.
 
So, hypothetically, would it be better to go in with picks 4, 15, 18, 23, 25 or trade a combo of those (excluding pick 4) to a team doing Academy bidding and try and pinch another high pick? And who would be the best team to deal with in that instance?

They will have room to pay if they manage to off load the big name they are willing to trade.
