I did this back in October 2013, time for a re- assessment.

1. Will Fremantle have won a premiership? Yes they should, even with Ross Lyon holding them back and they are a better team without Crowley.
2. Will Gold Coast have won a premiership? No...hit the re-start button.
3. Will GWS have won a premiership? Yes, hell may very well be freezing over by 2017 if they can keep their young stars.
4. Will GWS exist? It's touch and go, i really don't like their chances long term unless they snare a flag within 3 years.
5. Will North Melbourne exist? Yes, not in their current form. Tassie Roos? 2022 is a long way off. Vulnerable.
6. Will the Western Bulldogs exist? They are battling away against the odds, Ballarat Bulldogs is possible? 2 or 3 Western Oval games?
7. Will the Melbourne Demons exist? Yes. i like Hogan's Heroes!
8. Will Port Adelaide exist? Port are flying and always will.
9. Will Tasmania have a team in the AFL? A permanent re-location is a possibility. Southern Tassie Saints, Tassie Roos?
10. Will Canberra have a team in the AFL? NO
11. Will Northern Territory have a team in the AFL? NO
12. Will the AFL still be playing games in New Zealand? Yes, the AFL will persist in this futile attempt for the next 10 years!.
13. Will the AFL look to upgrade Docklands Stadium after just taking over ownership? Yes, it needs more blockbusters, it's a poor cousin to the MCG.
14. Will Fremantle and West Coast be playing out of a 80,000 seat stadium in Perth? Not 80,000, but a new stadium YES! 60,000 capacity?
15. Will the COLA still exist? NO.
16. How high will the salary cap be? 20mil?
17. Predict the top 4 in 2022 Geelong, Melbourne, Adelaide, West Coast...who knows? I'm biased of course, i will put Geelong in there.
18. Will there be a national reserves competition? Yes and play curtain raisers...
19. Will the International Rules series with Ireland still exist? Probably in some form or other, but it's really irrelevant.
20. Will the AFL have a form of rep football? If so, what kind? NO unless it's Vic V SA or WA and that's it. No empathy for anything else.
21. Will Aussie rules be the dominant code in NSW and/or QLD? NO, already Soccer has moved into 2nd place behind the Rugby codes.
22. Will Buddy be completing the ninth year of his contract with the Swans? There are as yet undiscovered tribes in the Peruvian jungle who know that Buddy will be long gone before 2022 comes around!

I was inspired to revisit this thread after the recent "Predict the '20s" thread. Not much I've got right so far - and unlikely to change! I'd swapped which of the two newest clubs would be the challengers and the basket case, and, off the back of their maiden Grand Final appearance, totally overestimated Freo's future.

13. The AFL bought the stadium early in 2016. No talk of an upgrade yet
14. Not quite. 60k at the moment with the potential to be upgraded to 80k
15. COLA was scrapped in 2014. No sign of it returning any time soon

Twilight/night grand finals have happened. Reading this with 48 hours before the season starts.

Talks of the future of both the Dees and Dogs and they met in a grand final and recently broke premiership droughts!
