Is 'to snear' a good or bad thing in this context?Fully agree in fact I was hoping for Ward for pick 7 for the reasons you point out. Not in happy we sneared Gipcus

I like that tackling is a weakness of his. Means he won't be given the 'pressure forward' tombstone to carry around.Just did a search for bio on him to see his mid experience..came up with this...
Judson Clarke Draft Profile

MMJ hunts down oppo, Clarke swoops and converts then.I like that tackling is a weakness of his. Means he won't be given the 'pressure forward' tombstone to carry around.
I think it is meant to be snared. Is 'to snear' a good or bad thing in this context?
Yeah....sorry... Didn't put my sarcasm emoji.I think it is meant to be snared.
Some very positive feedback about Clarke.
Also apparently the Dogs tried too do a deal with us to grab him.
You forgot Duncan kellawayLefties don’t just look classy, they are…So good to have another one join us…
Matthew Knights (my all-time), Trent Nichols, Greg Tivendale, Craig Lambert, Robbie Powell, Joel Bowden, Leon Cameron…Hope this kid cuts a swathe through panicked defences, and we all have a good time with it…
He couldn't kick on either foot. You forgot Duncan kellaway
With Aarts and Castagna the small forwards, it should not be hard for one of Clarke or Rioli Jr to take one or both spots.will play 1sts next year imo
why?
quite simply, anything will be better than last season's forward setup.
Some very positive feedback about Clarke.

At a guess.I'd say their future 2nd.Does anyone know what they offered for that pick? Looking at the highlight videos very happy to get him but I must admit prior to the draft I was hoping that a club might come after one of our picks so we could trade into next year.
That wouldn't make any sense and bordering on delusionalAt a guess.I'd say their future 2nd.
Would make sense considering we knocked it back. That wouldn't make any sense and bordering on delusional
The doggies future 2nd will most likely be 35+ after father sons/Academy picks etc
That ain't trueHe couldn't kick on either foot.
That would be a bad deal. For the deal to work it would have been for the Dogs future 1st and 3rd for our future 2nd (and the pick 30 they were asking for). That wouldn't make any sense and bordering on delusional

Sounds like we tried hard enough to trade down with no luckDoes anyone know what they offered for that pick? Looking at the highlight videos very happy to get him but I must admit prior to the draft I was hoping that a club might come after one of our picks so we could trade into next year.
Okay lets get it close. He could kick both feet but poorlyThat ain't true
That 1 goal he kicked was the greatest goal in historyOkay lets get it close. He could kick both feet but poorly
Allison wont make it and will be delisted in 2 yearsOne interesting element to this bloke is the trades involved in gaining the pick with which we took him.
It boils down basically to a straight shootout between the two player the Saints got from the trade versus the two players we got:
Jack Higgins and Matthew Allison(pick 26, 2020, 195cm forward, not played yet)
versus
Tom Brown and Judson Clarke.
I have no knowledge of how Allison is tracking, but Higgins seems to have made a decent start to his career at St Kilda…for a dust mite.
And the celebrations after were up there with the greatest ever. That 1 goal he kicked was the greatest goal in history
