I don't know what people expected us to get for a half-cooked, soon-to-be 31-year-old with off-field concerns. I'd rather take pick 53 than have Stringer hogging a list spot for the next two years. Good player at his peak but he's on the decline and isn't needed anymore.

123 games for 207 goals (so avg 1.68gpg for those who don't like maths)
2 goals in finals (both in 2021)
Leading goal kicker 3 times (18, 19 and 21), but only finished in the top-10 for the Crichton once (this season) which probably best shows just how inconsistent he was with us.

No doubt he could win you a game but this club is so busted list build wise he didn't have a spot in this team.

I'm positive he will do awesome things at GWS, I hope he does.

I would have accepted pick 200 for him, it doesn't matter what it was, we just needed him out so we can start fixing the balance of this side.
Obviously it would have been good to turf a couple others but baby steps.

Connors once again shows why he should be your agent, gets his client what they want.
