It was, but Caro fur example was pushing him to Essendon before he got to us and couldn’t wait to run with negativity before a match even started at the start of this year.

Clarko was a positive. Absolutely. Certain people couldn’t wait to report - pretty much push - the opposite.

'Steve from Twitter' could definitely catch on as an idiom cautioning against believing everything you read. But yeah I still hate his manager. What are the legal bindings in this scenario? Is TT tied to him for the rest of his career?

I try. But can’t deny that she’s influential in running (ruining?) the narrative about us.

Anyway, sorry to introduce her to the discussion. Back to TT. I feel as though he will stay.
Again, if what I saw last weekend at the end of the Gold Coast game was fake, he should consider an acting career.

Where’s our positive beat-up. Ever? Surrounding us with that might actually help us turn it around.

It doesn’t bother me at all because I choose not to consume that dross.

If you choose to swim in the toilet then you can’t complain when you bump into turds.

They are.
It’s not like there will never be positives. It’s just that certain sections of the media will always try to cut us down at every opportunity, that’s all.

Sheez had a remarkable year and you can’t kick >70 goals and not be in the AA convo.
Both of them made themselves impossible to ignore and good on them. But that’s kinda what you have to do when you play for North.

Why would a player have a contract with an agent? Agents work for the player. People drop their agents all the time if not working in their best interests.

Well I know it’s b/s. I know we’ve got a vibrant club in the right hands that will head in the right direction. I’m just tired of well-paid hack vultures trying to paint our club as a carcass free-for-all to pick on.
And I hate wearing the tin foil hat etc but I do sometimes think it wouldn’t be smart business for the league and their various parasites for such a tiny club to ever rise to the top. Some things just don’t feel legit, you know?

I push against the narrative at every chance. I never felt the need until Caro and her articles in 2007, since then I’ve probably been looking for it.
