No I didn't.

I said Noble was the problem. Noble has been removed for a reason (not just TT, for a range of factors).

Your use of percentages is not what I wrote at all so please don't misquote me or deliberately take my comments out of context.

No one has forgotten.

He looked like our best player by an absolute country mile in March.

I had him as an absolute certainty for the Syd from what I saw of him coming out of pre-season.

His season is one of the most disappointing I can remember from a North player in the last few decades.

No more excuses to be perfectly honest. I'd expect nothing less than him coming into 2023 absolutely transformed physically.

I think we need to get behind him mate. Got a feeling he's been dealing with a fair bit.

Anyways looking forward to fit TT playing great footy next year.
al Clarko will be great for him.
I really do hope so. TT blatantly has enough natural talent to be in the top echelon of players in the league, it would be a shame for everyone, including him, if he coasted through his career. FWIW I think he would still be a damned good player even if he did coast. What we saw this year is a write off due to circumstances, not him coasting.

People forget that TT did it the hard way - not cushy playing against small bodies in the usual limited age drafting routine, but playing against men at a very young age. (in Launceston, where I was born!)

The best league in Tasmania is not strong, I admit that, but still lots of tough hombres in it and TT still made it through and took all the hits etc.

Anyone who thinks TT is soft, or thinks he is better than he is have no idea. (imo)

57 games.

In that time he’s had a stretch of 6 that were superb.

A lead up to those games that was decent.

2 years where he only played a handful of games.

Next year will be his 5th on the list, really need him to find a level of consistent output.

I don't disagree that it is time for TT to step up and deliver - he has the talent clearly to produce more than he has so far.

In saying that when nothing is consistent around him (4 coaches in 5 years - incoming number 5 being Clarko) it hasn't exactly helped him being consistent either.

That applies for most of our list btw, not just TT. Him getting and staying fit is a huge factor as well.

bollocks, none of the other players threw the toys out of the cot as much as TT. even a first year player in JHF didn't as badly as TT.

What are you basing this on? Fact or opinion?

The game where he wasn't in the right headspace, or the tweet which was a bad look I agree. What else?

He crushed his ribs for the side in a very courageous smother attempt, that doesn't scream uncommitted to me, rather the opposite.

The only thing I’d quibble with is his conditioning after he returned from bereavement leave. Understand he probably wasn’t in the best of headspaces so it’s understandable but I did kinda hope he’d keep his fitness up there.

you answered your own question in the second line. in addition don't forget he didn't play seniors the the remainder of the year...

he broke his ribs in what, round 2? the team was worlds apart from the middle of the season when noble lost most of the players. the team and his own form wasn't in dire straights back then. i'm basing my opinion of more recent events such as the pathetic display in tasmania, the social media responses and never playing for the rest of the season.

we've got players in the team like LDU, higher draft pick, even more pressure to perform and his father passed away - he's come out the other side coming runner up in the B'n'F. hopefully TT can pull his finger out.

I agree mate that was a bit disappointing, he checked out mentally due to Noble which seemingly affected his fitness/effort.

I think that is not the normal for him though, I think Clarko will get more out of him and build a much better relationship with the players.

I’m confident that’ll be the case too. I just think we all see the ceiling the guy has and want him to reach it.

If you don't think this clown was a massive problem/disaster then that is up to you.

Is he or Thomas still at the club?

No more on Noble. He's gone. It's beyond excessive now. Any more the mods will consider it spam, which is the quickest way to get thread bans.
