Right answer.

It's only a small glass though. Not a Biggie.

Comben wont play back if we have Pink, Corr and Dawson fit, with the unknown being Biggie
i think comben will play back regardless at CHB as they see it as a way to keep him on the park

and I reckon biggie will be the third tall defender and if needed can pinch hit ruck

I think the injury protection theory in defence is more of a nice theory. He broke his ankle going hell to leather to punch a ball which he would be doing more regularly in defence. His issue is the way he attacks the ball, not the position on the ground he does it.

I would certainly train him as a defender this off season as a way to add flexibility but the four other KP defenders should be fighting for the defensive positions. Theis good f bigger question is whether he or Biggie plays the 2nd ruck or do we go with CCJ. This could come down to how many of our mid sized forwards are effective. I think a more mobile forward line is the way for us to go.

Comben is playing back.

Its not about list management, its about his body.

Its literally what we did with Robbie Tarrant in the same situation.

I worry for his long term position on the list then.

Would he be in front of any of Pink, Biggie, Dawson, Corr or logue?

I hope he proves me very wrong.
He’d be the CHB
Logue full back
Corr third tall

In Logies absence corr plays taller and I’ve got biggie in as an interceptor

On talent he's probably equal with Logue and Corr who I feel is desperately underrated.

If he stays fit he's going to be a starting 18 key defender for the next decade.

Tarrant had concrete hands. He was a liability forward, we turned him into a defender to see if we can salvage a career, and to his credit thats what he did.

This is a tremendous rewriting of history.

is Logue's injury 9 or 12 months ? Does anyone where he is at with his recovery ? its been while now .. min 6 months?

It happened in early July, just over three months ago.

He'll miss pre-season is the real killer.

As I've mentioned before here... I have an excellent reliable ITK contact at the club who 100% says Chom will play Back. move on.

Viney says Chom will play back, I think Chom has even said Chom will play back.

Same here, at least on this board.

By the end of the season you could see he'd clicked nicely into Clarko's system.

He's a tall running defender rather than stand and wrestle KPD.

I reckon he'll thrive next year - especially if the like of Pink/Biggie/Dawson can cover the loss of shit for branes.
