It’s wild to me that he only had one season at north where he kicked double digit goals (2015, 24 goals)….feel like he had a much bigger impact than that.

I was always a fan - I heard a story that during his vic metro year a coach asked all the players to bring boots with long stops as it was going to be wet.

Robbie didn’t as he only owned 1 pair of boots and the coach ripped him for being unprofessional - he wasn’t aware of Robbie’s upbringing and Robbie was too proud to tell him otherwise.

It all got sorted but for Robbie to make it and play as many games as did in a really hard position on the ground is a testament to him and his family.

What's even more tragic is he was embarrassed to reveal it to his mates so he would walk the extra kilometre to hide it. Dimma knew him very well and even he didn't know about it until about a half dozen years after he got drafted.
