Fair enough though, repeated concussions don't just risk an early end to his career but could severely reduce his quality of life post football.Edit: Interesting that it seems like it’s Kelly not wanting to play than the club holding him back.
100% - wasn’t a criticism.Fair enough though, repeated concussions don't just risk an early end to his career but could severely reduce his quality of life post football.
I'd much rather see players doing this than watch him concuss himself into a dementia ward by his 30s like McCartin seems to be doing.
Defender Jake Kelly will also be looking to return, after missing the last three matches due to concussion.
"The aim for Jake (Kelly) is to train fully this week, and if he gets through the week feeling well, and is confident to play again, he will come into selection calculations."

So less rusty now than he was in his first game back... will wonders ever cease?I thought he was a lot better this week. Won a few contests and didn’t butcher the ball as much.
Breakfast of championsI haven't really opened this thread before. The featured picture makes him look like he's mid-motorboat
He was on the wing in the second half, as mentioned in the From the Rooms video. Don't know about forward.Im still scratching my head why our band 3 defender free agent was spotted as a migrant in the forward half on the weekend.
Anyone at the game can provide some insight into whom he lined up on, presumably as a defensive forward?
Records only go back to 2017 but he just easily broke the record for sprint efforts in a game with 49.
No one else on the field had more than 24.
If someone could explain to me why he spent large parts of the second half on the wing that would be swell.
Trying something new with Cox going back perhaps?
I thought briefly maybe it was a defensive role on Gulden but given that one thing Kelly does well is wear his man like a glove, and Gulden dominated, either he abjectly failed at that or he wasn't playing that role.
couldnt quite tell who he was supposed to be suppressing. Possibly Gulden & Blakey?Im still scratching my head why our band 3 defender free agent was spotted as a migrant in the forward half on the weekend.

I think I weird spot for him to be used is in the 1st 22.Did a lot of blocking for Langford in the 2nd. Weird spot for him to be.
As a defender, has he been solidly beaten in any game this year? I can’t think of any instances but not 100% sure. For every other defender, they’ve each had at least one mare.
Did we not trade for this guy to be a tough lockdown defender? He is soft as butter and useless on a wing or up forward. Not much of a defender either to be honest. Should be in the magoos…
