Shows a lot of ticker to move east towards the end of his career. I can't honestly say I have watched him much before but sounds like if he's finally fit he could be a good contributer.
strengthens our defence considerably. Very happy with this regardless of his age or injury history. Cost us nothing in draft capital is just a bonus.

This one surprised me. I did not believe the rumours when he was linked to us.
It feels like we are going all in on the next couple of seasons by getting experienced depth in important positions.

Happy with him as an experienced depth player but I’m hoping he won’t be needed because either Francis has a Ted Richards revolution over summer or Melican finally can play a full year at full fitness. I’d rate both of them at full fitness over Hamling but he’s very good depth at an important position for us to call on if we need it, assuming he can keep his body right given how many games he has missed over the last three or four years. At full fitness, definitely a solid player.

He seems like a good bloke but I will find it easier to accept him once he has towelled you a Western Bulldogs forward. I really do not like that team, particularly the 2016 version.
