You know what I'd like to see on Bigfooty: once a poster reaches a certain high percentage of an entire thread (say 10% of the thread, once it reaches 100 posts), they're banned from posting on said thread.

Yeah, I know it won't happen. Free speech must be respected. But it might stamp some of this repetitive negativity out.

Lol. Free speech. Try that on the SRP board and see how it goes.

Having an eye for talent is a gift.

Conversely being an annoying and insufferable campaigner is not a gift.

I mean, I'm not a glass half full type of person when it comes to our team for the most part, but even still, your obsession is a bit much.

Thanks for your concern. Unfortunately I couldn't care less for your opinion. I get bored at work and this passes the time, watching sheffield shield and and debating with morons.

Being able to take constructive criticism and self-reflection are also important gifts to have.

It's a shame we have to suffer at the expense of your boredom.

He looked sluggish but still made an impact.

Can he run out games? The practice games he dropped off massively in the second half :(

Put him as a defensive tagger. Pigeon hole him in that role and develop him. The above is an issue though.

It's especially an issue as a tagger though, unless you want a repeat of the Pies game last year when Daicos won them the game after Phillips was gassed

He can play. Even if it takes two more (1 more at least) preseasons to get that tank to standard, his upside is more than others who id cut before him. Perhaps he just doesn't have the running game AFL requires, but that time frame allows us to find out. And yeah im cutting him more slack than i normally would due to his circumstances.

Just some feedback on this. Have very good source who spoke to Will after that game. Says he was not gassed and was good to keep with Daicos for the last quarter no problems. Was Clarkos move and not something Will had any control over. Maybe because Daicos went forward?

Made the same mistake again last weekend. I get the thinking, they felt like they needed one more outside runner and one fewer inside mid, but it was a mistake. Tucker had no impact and we immediately lost a run of centre clearances that cost us the game.

That's my view also.

Will wasn't lighting it up, but he was keeping Clarry relatively quiet. Once he went off, Oliver had 4 of his 8 clearances.

I'm with Junkyard on this. We can't call an 11 touch game from a top 5 pick mid who was subbed out early again "good".

If that was good, then we have a long way to go before we hold our players to a standard that will see us competitive week in week out.

can't wait until wiphi hits the magic number of possessions to satisfy you lot, then suddenly it will be worth going further with the analysis, and "well they were cheap possessions" or some line to that effect.

That's fine. At least you don't feel the need to repeat your opinion every hour or so.
