just thought that Doogs needed to be in the team just incase Cordz was getting worked over for closing speed on a heavy and wide MCG. The midfield looks slow and vulnerable, any how handy would it have been to have Zac in there to add some grunt and speed, obviously not ready. Sebby coming back is a massive positive but hopefully the pegs hold up. And finally I think we will be a man short with a certain player, don't think he's made for finals yet.

But as they say, if there is grass on the pitch...then let's play.

Yep this, and it's an indication metric in case the listed sub plays zero minutes in a match to state "was named as an onfield emergency" type for stats things.

Like anything, it probably shouldn't have even been a suspension. That's irrelevant in this case. They have tried to make it more like court where the only way you can take it this far is to show that it was unreasonable or an error of law. They have basically overridden the system and made the system look like a joke court.

Bedford - what a crock of sh it. I’m really getting angry angry at the times we have accepted suspensions now without pulling apart semantics. If the afl procedure is going to be so susceptible to legal scrutiny, it’s time it was overhauled.

It was more media scrutiny than legal scrutiny that got it overturned, the AFL heard the uproar about it and decided they better let him off.

To be honest he shouldn't have been suspended in the first place so we can't complain too much but they have ignored the uproar over other stupid suspensions like the Ryder and Long suspensions in previous years or the Sicily one this year.

The whole system is a joke with no consistency or common sense, how Tom McCartin got off after his head high bump just defies belief.

Stocker is a slower accountable tough one on one defender. I'd say that we are looking to match them in the midfield where they have multiple guns. If it gets into defence too often we are ****ed anyway. Might as well try to hold it up further up the field IMO.
