Don't mind a younger voice. We killed off a potential generation by being shit for 12 years. This is their moment to engage with the club, people over 30 are too far invested to back out now. It's those kids 13 to 30 that we need to get our hooks into. The cult of disappointment needs new blood.

That said a little dream of a bulldogs miracle is stirring. Especially after talking to my Carlton brother in law who went through every side that could potentially win it this year and it was everyone apart from us. I hope we go further than them so much now.

Haha that's a fair point

So we'll be playing away from our home ground, in the wind and rain. So glad we finished above GWS.

No doubt the AFL will spend all the cash from the extra 5000 punters very wisely indeed.

BOM saying 14deg and 1mm rain

Football is traditionally played outdoors. And if we want to do anything as a club we need to be winning finals at the G. May as well start this weekend.

After decades of standing in shocking conditions, watching games marred by inclement conditions, I love going to Marvel and not having to worry about the weather of the day.

Having said that, I’m rapt we’re playing our final at the G. That is where the big dance happens. It’s where we need to perform.

I went to the elimination final in 2011 against Sydney when it was held at the Dome and the atmosphere was okay. But it was big game atmosphere as opposed to final’s atmosphere.

Bring on Saturday, and bring on the MCG

If people don’t want this final played at the MCG then they can’t see the bigger picture past playing an elimination final.

No QF, Semi or Prelim we play in will ever be at Marvel so we need to acclimatise at every opportunity. We thumped Collingwood in 2009 on their home ground because it didn’t matter to that team and this team needs to get that same mentality.

If its a wet game who does it benefit us or them?
I think if we adjust quickly, it's not a bad thing for us. It took us too long to adjust in the Richmond game in the rain, but once we did, we played the conditions well. Butler, Higgins, Gresham etc are really dangerous in the wet. Although Greene, Daniels etc would be a handful in the wet too.

Just remember the MCG car park is closed

Just booked car parking in exhibition st $20

And I’m taking the 4 x 4 and using all my space 😂
Only yes voters get to go in the MCG carpark.

The rest simply aren't good enough

Its a little weird cause there are pros and cons both ways but i think them just a shade.

Green, Greene, Coniglio, Daniels. It feels like their really top end are all still pretty solid in the wet where as for us its mostly our second tier that are proven in the wet.

I assume this was one of the conditions put forward by the "vote No" team. It is after all traditional Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung land
Yeah good point actually
