Im still in shock. Cant believe we ctully fought and got the win. All year they just fade in the last so was expecting the same result. Goal after siren just tops it.
It feels nice to give the old brigade a good send off. Finally we fought out a win and to do it in a final. Im proud of the boys, feels good to be an Eagles supporter.

How bout those bloody west coast eagles. Stirring stuff.
I believed Shuey was going to nail that goal and finish port off like he did two years ago with that amazing goal that kick started your 2015 season. Another great game where you hung on like you have now 3 times vs port in the last 3 seasons. Also reminded me of that thrilling win you had vs the dogs in that 99 final game where Malthouse broke a bone in his hand hitting the bench.
Ya stuck it right up them. That's what ya done!
At least you can say I did this, at least I did something! Lol!

Jk nailing important goals one with 9 sec left first half of et. I stopped watching right before that. I thought it was curtains. I despise port Adelaide. I didn't see the goal, only the replay. I heard he got it with 9 sec left I was in the next room on my lap top. Clutch goal that kept him in it then another with two mins left in the second period of et.
Umpires almost robbed you. So many chopped arms and port players crashing into you yet no calls, yet when it happened to port they'd blow the whistle. Hutchings was crashed into from behind ( sounds like a porno ) in his neck and back, no free.
Umpires were bloody horrendous. What about Petrie? Should have been reversed.
Good win hope you beat that basket case in GWS can't stand them also. I think you can beat them although If tip gws but don't see you's getting past the tiges.

Jetta had 15 kicks at high efficiency, 19 pressure acts was massive. I would rather him have 17 touches and have an impact his 17 touches are gold

I wanted WC to win for a number of reasons, including that the other half is an Eagles supporter as well as the Mitch/Simpson Hawks connection but also if I were to make a list of most flogish football personalities David Kosh and Kane Cornes would both make the top 5.

The video referral is rubbish, the video quality is usually rubbish, and I have not once seen them overrule an on field umpire regardless of how obvious it is. Should just get rid of it.
As for criticisms of the free kick, bollocks. It is there 100 per cent of the time. The deliberate out of bounds decision was magnitudes worse.
