wallace said on wlf that hilts was safe.

if it's the same interview, I heard that TW side stepped the Hilton question and said 'where do you poeple get this stuff from?'

FWIW I'm a Hilton fan...it won't upset me if he stays and the information is wrong.

it'll teach me to wait for confirmation maybe

Where has it been announced?

And is Hilton delisted because we'd have to re-contract him again in order to try and do a trade? i.e. a risk we may have to keep him (presuming TW & GM dont and would've liked a trade)?

I heard it on 3aw just after 12pm, 100% correct.

They said Archibald, Morrison & Hilton.

It was about time Hilton was delisted. He really hasn't done much, even before his injuries. Too inconsistant and will not be able to change this deep into his career. As stated by many posters, he needs to make room for our young that can already match him in many areas, with room for improvement.

if this is true we could re draft archibald on the rookie list and re draft hilton with one of our later picks we wouldnt have to pay him much

Why would you bother re-drafting Hilton

Money is not the issue here.

Hilton is finished people and gone from the RFC.

Get over it!!!

Archibald was drafted at about Pick 80 in 2003, and in two seasons I don't think he has even made it onto our emergencies. Nowadays there is not enough room on the list for such luxuries.

No great loss.

archie was a long shot. even if he hasnt been delisted yet, he will be imo. if these players have been delisted, then why hasnt the club announced it yet?

6 or more at Coburg perhaps, never at AFL level.

i am not saying that he could. i am saying IF he did, there would still be people who would want to cut him. yes i know thats an exhageration.

All we have to do is trade krak and chaff for mcdougall and we are happy :D.
no we dont want mcdougal, he is a pathetic pussy who could not take a contested mark for ********. Let me ask you one question west coast have no kpps whatsoever and mcdougal is not getting a game, does that tell you something?

Mcdougall has had alot of injuries this year. There's your answer. Talented player. West Coast have no KPP? LOL. I think you will find that they have one of the strongest groups of tall players in the league. Cox, Staker, Glass, Gardiner, Hansen are big talents. Lynch, Hunter, Seaby, Mcdougall are all pretty good additions. You're just another Richmond supporter who doesn't know what they're on about ;)

if you seriously want that weak pussy in our team your just another richmond supporter that dosent know what they're on about

Rule of thumb #1 when trading .... steer clear of fringe players in successful teams. Way over-valued merely by their association with real gun players.

History is littered with 3rd tier (and even 2nd tier) players from top clubs who have gone elsewhere over true market value only to struggle when not surrounded by the type of players they're used to have carrying them.

You're far better off looking for a bargain in amongst the clubs that are trading through desperation or the insurmountable pressure of supporter groups and directors.

Barry Young ... followed closely by Des Headland
