My first game of the year and my boy Darcy Parish turned it on. He was so good in close. Checked the stats after and he's racked up 7 clearances. Shiel was great also. But Darcy had a blinder. His goal sealed it. He shouldve had 2 or 3. Hopefully he's on for the year now.

Best game of his career. 24 touches, 14 contested 7 clearances, 2 goals and a whole lot of impact. He's going to make it as a midfielder yet.

Looked like a genuine goal-kicking midfielder tonight. Looked at home.

Offers us something Myers and Langford don't... the ability to run and link and play inside. Has a crack on the inside and gets on the chain of handballs.

Other guys are too static and thats why we need to persist with our strengths rather than focus on what we can't do.

Lets cool our jets a little. He is still young so the inconsistencies will remain but the standard has been set to a standard now.
