Wright got Bronx cheers at one stage tonight when he finally marked one. They did literally put it in his head- the falcon was pretty funny.

He got multiple Bronx cheers tonight he couldn’t mark anything but at the same time. Wright needs to the ball on the lead out in front. He’s no good above his head

We continually kicked long bombs to a outnumbered wright.

Needed to lower the eyes and make space. We always look so congested in the forward line.

To be honest, it looked like the the three small half forwards was a bit of a Hail Mary and a throw back to Davey senior at CHF.

You need to watch his highlights from last season again. When the ball is above and he gets his arms up, he usually marks. Tonight he had a mare because he couldn't get separation.

I agree, but that's not what you'd said. He didn't take marks tonight because he couldn't get separation. He needed a foil and Langford wasn't enough.

It seems that we're almost there, realising this guy for what he is. But there is still a tendency to have cake and eat it too.

We'd be lucky to get a second round pick.

It’s not surprising clubs haven’t been coming hard for him tbh
It actually be interesting to know what someone would be willing to pay him on the open market

When is the club going to see this guy for what he is? Our midfield looked better every time he was off. Caldwell, Hobbs both put their head over the ball, more composed with ball in hand. I don’t think I’ve seen a better example of stats being a complete misrepresentation of a players value to a team. Trade please. No one wants him. Why would you?

Set up Langford's goal. Would've set up a Wright goal late if he could actually take a mark. Won numerous clearances that got us going forward. Once again led the team in pressure acts (game-high 39, 17 more than our next best player...).

Classic Parish game. Whats it worth to you? For me, between 5-6 hundred k a year long term. He wants 8. Id offer him just under whatever gets us band 1 compo. So if another team has a sniff we get the pick we want. Bloke overrates himself. Only reason im keeping him for reasonable money is because i am a believer that he can improve. But he is nowehere near the top echelon of midfielders in the comp and he's been overpaid the last 2 years.

Havnt seen that anyway, that’s honestly absurd. We didn’t even give Merrett 8.
