Agree and that’s the million dollar question. I maintain he’s been offered a low monetary deal , but over a longer period of time. He’s shopping around still as obviously the two offers which are now the same are not much monetary wise.

potentially coming up short just missing out on band 1 compensation. If our wheeler dealer can't finagle Graham into band 3 compo and he falls to band 4 then he needs to be fired or at minimum outsource the negotiating to some sleazy real estate agent/ corporate negotiator.

Band 4 will blow out from pick 40 to near worthless pick 50 after FA, NGA and F/S. Band 3 will be pick 22 in a strong draft can either: a) draft a bloody good player. b) bundle it up for extra points to get another top 10 pick. c) watch teams fight over it overnight after several highly rated players slide in the Draft. There will also be several teams who's windows closing that are desperate to get a decent pick this year and would trade their 2025 1st rounder.... maybe more. They the bed next year we have another top 10 pick in 2025. If GC can throw away pick 7 and Bowes to salary dump him then surely we can pull some levers/ pay some of his salary like with Ty Vickery.

Baker + #10 +#57 for #3
Baker + #6 for #3+#23
