Got a bit of the Mark Coughlans about him I reckon. Just a tough natural footballer, low profile but very highly rated by RFC club & supporters. Just hope he has a better injury run.
Kid has only played 3 games so a long way to go, but I like what I've seen so far.

Big call at the time AT and if I recall I picked you up on it and said give the kid a break as he has his future ahead of him plus injuries to battle. It wasn't until I watched him play his first game I realised you were right. Top pick young fella.

Loved the sincerity of the remarks from JR8 on 360.

I see those words as a real demonstration for the respect held amongst the playing group for what he has brought to the table in his first few games.

Good starts in finals are critical and when the heat is on in the first 15 - 20 minutes you need to have those players that will hunt the footy and/or the oppo player that has it. Having Jack G, as well as Townsend freeing up Caddy to come into the middle, is that additional grunt around the core midfield that will allow us to be competitive in that area with any of the remaining teams.
