That young girl would've felt so special watching that match. Well done Guelf, it's a joy to not just see a player develop in their game, but grow as a person, boy becoming man kinda stuff. Don't underestimate what that does to the culture of a team.

Also, this kind of player is a coaches wet dream. Wish we had a few more Guelfs. But looking at the last few games, the mindset is spread to the whole squad.

When she said "I believe in you", I reckon that would've hit that soft spot for Guelfi that every tough nut has. I'm really glad he had the opportunity to follow through with the promise.

I don't like most AFL players, but to see that with someone in her position just broke me.

Congratulations on your 100th game young man , I’ve watched every game which means I’ve seen 100 Essendon games and even have some Essendon players as my favourite players , been very hard to be in this forum with some of the stuff that gets written about the players , the club and the coaches , I used to think people just didn’t know better but I think it’s just a passion for your club and frustration at a bit of lack of success , anyway I’m a guelf fan and I hope he has another 100 more after this one

He's certainly seen some dark era times at EFC but has always tried his hardest no matter what was thrown at him.

Often creates opportunities where other players wouldn’t through pure determination. Above average set shot, strong hands and has shown ability to play a lock down role. What’s not to like

Not sure what you want to here , guelf has had more beat downs in this forum than any other bomber player on the list , Perkins must be copping it this week , he’s going to be a good player and he will win them over eventually, I read one post say he burns everybody, I saw quelf get burnt about 3 times last night , he was open about 30mts out and it was like team orders not to go there , still have 2 or 3 players in that team that won’t give it of to a better option first , only when they get into trouble they give it of

hes a small forward who is a below average afl runner. that type of player is not playing for any team that is any good at all. i know you like to do amyl in ibiza with him or whatever, but this is the essendon board.
