So what is his official height? Looks undersized to play true key position. Good luck to him anyways...
Considering we've been playing Greenwood forward who is 190 cm, Sellers at 193 cm is an upgrade both in size and playing in his preferred position (not a dig at Greenwood BTW).

I think he'll complement Larkey and (hopefully) CCJ well, add him to Zurhaar, Duursma & Ford and he gives us another contested marking threat up forward.

Guessing Larkey' s vote of confidence would've sealed the deal.

Whilst Sellars is a little short for a KPF he has good positioning, courage and marking. Kicking a little bit hit and miss but nothing alarming.

But most importantly Nick would've had direct observation of his smarts and how we worked into our structure alongside an established key forward.

Going to bet his thoughts post intra would've been taken into account.

This makes me so bloody happy.

From the VAFA rising star to kicking 30 goals in the VFL to an AFL list all within 2 years.

Fact is, players without talent don’t make that jump that quickly and at just 20 y.o there is stacks of potential upside with him.

Nice leap, elite in the air, natural forward craft, decent at ground level and a solid tank already.

Absolutely no reason why he won’t play plenty of games this year.

His height isn’t an issue if he has decent athleticism.

At 193cm, he's 2cm taller than Jack Darling, 1cm taller than Brody Mihocek, and the same height as Jack Gunston, all of whom held down key forward positions in premierships teams.
Can't believe Darling is only 191.....he plays taller than that. Def looks taller. Seller could be a good get then

I think this does more than just give a young fella an opportunity which is well deserved, but also adds that thought to potential VFL recruits that they could get picked up by the AFL side. Hawthorn has done this well for a few years now and am glad we have done it as well.
100% this box hill get great recruits to play in there system because these opportunities are around.
Great news for the club.
Welcome Tyler

Just kicks goals… Nothing flashy, no nonsense. He just routinely does the basics right, gets in the right positions and gets opportunities on goal.

My biggest take away from the intra club was the way Larkey and Sellers separated and worked so well together. We have struggled in recent times with other forwards leading the same way or trying to mark the same balls. Sellers why quite happy to duck away to a pocket which will hold him in good stead if Larkey is getting all the attention.
