A little undersized, but he has a great leap, positions himself really intelligently, and always brings the ball to ground. I wouldn’t just hone in on Luff, the whole department left.
But it certainly feels like recruiting is part of an effort to build a wider culture rather then just pick the kid who stats stand out.

I think this does more than just give a young fella an opportunity which is well deserved, but also adds that thought to potential VFL recruits that they could get picked up by the AFL side. Hawthorn has done this well for a few years now and am glad we have done it as well.

Was about to comment the same, and that should help attract talent to our VFL program.
