His attack on the ball in marking contests is probably already the best on our list. A little undersized, but he has a great leap, positions himself really intelligently, and always brings the ball to ground. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he plays every game alongside Larks- so pumped for him.

Is it just me or have our recruiting decisions been markedly better since Luff departed.
I wouldn’t just hone in on Luff, the whole department left.
But it certainly feels like recruiting is part of an effort to build a wider culture rather then just pick the kid who stats stand out.

I think this does more than just give a young fella an opportunity which is well deserved, but also adds that thought to potential VFL recruits that they could get picked up by the AFL side. Hawthorn has done this well for a few years now and am glad we have done it as well.
Was about to comment the same, and that should help attract talent to our VFL program.

Apparently we will start him off half back
You jest, however this is from the club website:
Sellers twice kicked bags of four in the 2023 VFL season for a Kangaroos side that scraped into the finals with 10 wins from 18 games. He also played some time in defence, showcasing his versatility.
