He obviously has a few screws loose.
Its frustrating to watch because i think he can be a 40 goal player but he is just silly.
Hopefully he matures soon

Nah. ripped Zorkos down and nailed Marlion Picketts poster upDid he have a poster of zorko on his wall as a kid , Fmd that was stupid shit
Good old scoreboard pressure. 3 goals instead of 1 goal 5 in the VFL.Yeh I don't fully agree with your first point, kicking only 42, 49, 42, 44 points consecutive weeks suggest we don't get the easy ones out the back.
He's about as competitive in the air as every other small/medium forward (Bolton the exception) we have at the moment. Even the GOAT about to play his 300th can't compete in the air...
How is it remotely comparable to put him up against Stewart? I don't like him as much as the next guy, but he's been one of the best defenders in the league over the last few years. A bloke in what his 25th game is going to need a bit of time to develop.
But I do agree, his discipline does need work, but he's shown he wants to give it a crack.
If he can continue kicking goals and looking dangerous while minimizing the lapses - I'd keep him in.

True, but i wasnt a professional athlete.Or you can look at it this way, without him we lose!! No screws loose there, just a mistake, how mature were you at 23? Plenty of others have done worse mate

Absolutely I would, but I don't let that fool me like lots of others have into thinking he's a half decent AFL player or prospect. He isn't.Someone has to kick the cheap ones, especially when we haven’t been getting them all year.
If someone said before the game Cumbo will kick 3, you’d absolutely take it
How childish. I want him to be Royce Hart the second but my wants don't really come into it.Keep dreaming kiddo. You don’t want him to make it. That’s what it’s about. For some stupid reason. You a tiger supporter?
First goal from a free he got out the back and was lucky that the Adelaide bloke made front on contact because he completely missed the fall of the ball. What game were you watching?
Which goal did he get out the back?
He's 183cm tall. He's only got those blokes playing on him because we've been going into games with 1.5 key forwards.
Goal 1 his opponent is 10m in front of him when Nank gets the ball. Nank saw it & kicks it to the Combo's advantage out the back, by which time his opponent closes but is forced to give a free away.Absolutely I would, but I don't let that fool me like lots of others have into thinking he's a half decent AFL player or prospect. He isn't.

It's also infuriating when there's a good deal of empty space to lead into as you'll see below where he should be coming up at the ball carrier:

Good bit of work for his second but lets not pretend that we shouldn't have exploited the ruck matchup to greater advantage than we did last night.
My issue is that he runs out the back at every opportunity anticipating that we win the contest up field leaving his opponent to zone off and intercept which they do with impunity.
There were at least four to five times that happened last night and even have a look at the Campbell goal in the last he's running away from the ball carrier when every good forward in the league would be leading up to make an option.
It's indicative of a bloke that is out to get himself a few goals and not do the team thing.
His defensive effort has improved to some extent but he still needs to do more and let's face it his discipline is not good.
That's debatable. He's the sort of bloke opposition coaches will always try and match up their interceptors on for the very reason that he isn't tall or great in the air.
It seems lots of you disagree and that is your prerogative. A few others may be indulging in that warm glow of a rare win which I also get. I know what I see however and don't have particularly high hopes unless Noah decides to do something about it.
You’re right, I can’t believe he’s on a list or alive to be that matterAbsolutely I would, but I don't let that fool me like lots of others have into thinking he's a half decent AFL player or prospect. He isn't.

Gee whiz, I'm glad you're not on the match committee.Absolutely I would, but I don't let that fool me like lots of others have into thinking he's a half decent AFL player or prospect. He isn't.

He led at the ball all night, he didn't get the kick so he doubles back. He is constantly on the move, which is why he gets balls out the back. He has natural forward craft in that respect.Goal 1 his opponent is 10m in front of him when Nank gets the ball. Bolton too far away...Combo was our deepest fwd when Nank kicked. That's his position forward. Thats a selection call.
The goal he crumbed from the ruck contest is what you want your small fwds doing.
Crumbing ruck contests~ That is not his forte. hope he does it again.

This!He led at the ball all night, he didn't get the kick so he doubles back. He is constantly on the move, which is why he gets balls out the back. He has natural forward craft in that respect. In the picture you highlight, his man is very much in the basketballer defensive position, one eye on the kicker, one eye on his man. He would have closed down that space and Cumberland would have had to lead to the boundary. So he doubled back to the goals. He did this again later on and nearly took a one-handed chest mark. Having said that, the first free was very dubious, but the umps thought they'd suck us all in early, before they reverted to the norm.

When you start being true to yourself and have some dignity based on the facts, you'll find that you are horribly wrong and probably accept that he is alot better than you think.Absolutely I would, but I don't let that fool me like lots of others have into thinking he's a half decent AFL player or prospect. We can criticise him all we want, and I don't doubt much is warranted, but the fact remains, he's one hell of an improvement on Castagna.

The free was very soft. Didn't misread it, he went forward to make body contact so the defender couldn't come at him, and put himself out of position in doing so. If he didn't do that he would have been easy pickings. The criticism by Simche was:

Doesn't tell the story of the jostling both players did under Nank' s long, slow high ball....which goes some way to explaining the mark not being taken. and oppo giving away the rare free kick.
