Liked his game wasn't the centre of attention worked hard and still chipped in with a few goals.
Looks a lot like a bloke we had in the mid to late 80’s. Put dark hair on him and I would see Michael Pickering reincarnated. Clever, tough and hates a goal. Give him number 35 next season!

That's Broad's number.

Great little interview
Really like his honesty about needing to put the work in after last year

Love his workrate last 2 weeks setting up play and chipping in with goals.
His ability to give off the correct pass to set up goals for his team mates is first rate.

Loving this kid.

Currently averaging 4.7 scores/game

Jeremy Cameron 4.1
Hawkins 4.2
Fritsch 3.2

He's a ripper, in that position will always have games where its hard to get into the game, but seems to just keep working hard, putting on pressure, clever disposal and a couple of goals. If he can keep this up as his minimal impact games then fantastic, and will have games where he has a huge impact when he gets the right match up.

He looks like a genuine long term player.

A smaller, faster JR to me. If he ever reaches and stays anything like that level we have a huge chunk of our team.

He is something like Townsend in 2017, comes in and leads to goals. But with extra skill and less grunt. Hopefully a more durable and higher level performer. And has the same impact in 2022 as Towna did in 2017.

Quicker over the ground too than Towner

Have been very impressed with Cumberland. Was always hesitant early days without a large body of work, and I had concerns (defensive understanding and degree of selfishness) through this year in the VFL, but that seems to have largely abated in the AFL system (could do with playing alongside vets).

Most impressive for me is that last week and this week, for large chunks of the game Cumbo was taking the third tall defender, giving up 10cm + (Aliir, Granger Barras/ Jeka / Blanck). A real sacrificial game, but still had a way to hit the score board.

Three of his four goals were very much out of nothing, but he also adapted and quickly learns from his mistakes. Case in point in the third, blazed away with a snap when he should have given it off. Very next stoppage gave it off (Prestia goal) when he had every right to have a shot.

I’m not sure if that would have been the case earlier this season. Some will say he should have been brought in earlier. Fair enough, but I think he was brought in at exactly the right time.

Just hope he isn’t the one that makes way if/ when Dusty returns.

Agree with all that, reckon Edwards might be the 1 to make way, initially thought Sonsie but he's coming along nicely too.

Noah Cumberland has kicked 18.13 in 8 games…

That’s 31 scoring shots in 8 games.

Over a 22 game season that is around 85-90 scoring shots. That’s a 45-50 goal season and that would put him top 10 in the Coleman. 😄

Put in perspective for this year:

Bolton- 82 scoring shots 41 goals in 22 games
Lynch- 85 scoring shots 60 goals in 18 games

Stengel- 71 scoring shots 46 goals in 22 games
Fritsch- 71 scoring shots 50 goals in 22 games
C.Cameron- 65 scoring shots 47 goals in 22 games
Heeney- 67 scoring shots 44 goals in 21 games
