It'll be outlandish to roll out a trio of big blokes taken 47, 72, and 73 in the next few years.

If Comben is in that group he'll be the highest pick of them all as well. In the 30s.

Pity we can't develop players or they'd have been good.

The Maltese with names starting with X, it is a Basque thing?
I don't think Malta was ever apart of the Kingdom of Basque, but the neighbouring county/province/state (not sure which to use) of Aragon, ruled Southern Europe for a time in the 15th and early 16th Century. Back then the Kingdom of Aragon's ruled all of North East Spain including Catalonia, extended into Corsica, Sicily, Southern Italy and Malta and I think maybe even Southern Greece for a short time. The daughter of King Ferdinand II, Catherine of Aragon married King Henry VIII of England in 1509.

The " Skinny " Mick Nolan.

Back in a time when the Dim Sims and VB long necks of Melbourne could move about in relative safety.
