2 more years? If that's true we must be tanking. Maric should be moved on too. Picking up rubbish in the changerooms shouldn't justify a long tenure as a ruck coach when it's a massive weakness of ours. We've been paying Colina 4.5 years now for less than zero output. Physios and masseuses need to put their efforts towards injured players who are productive. Not bludgers who are only around through shared ethnicity with a coach. Fmd I hope you're wrong. 3 years for Samson also. Downie at Willie would take minimum chips and be our 2nd best ruck after 1st training session.

How would we know? He hasn't played in 2 years. By all reports he's an aerobic freak for his size....so that's something. If his fundamentals were no good he wouldn't have been given another year.

I don't mind giving him one more crack at it, Meehan free.
 
Bit of a shock. We seem to be stockpiling ruck 'cover'. I guess we are hoping that one will come good and/or we will FA someone in.

Good luck to him, he is due some.

He’s not ruck cover if he never gets on the park. Where’s the harm in delisting him putting him on the VFL list and then picking him back up next year if he actually comes good?

I don’t see anyone trying to poach him from us

Honestly (conspiracy theory time) maybe the back injury has been caused by our mismanagement so we’re doing this to keep him happy?

What we have seen of him in the VFL is more than enough to pass judgement. The bloke can’t kick, doesn’t move that well despite what’s been said on here, and even with his height advantage, averaged less than 1 mark a game and about 6 hit outs a game. Combine that with 2 years of back related injury and the club should have called this experiment off some time ago.

If club can turn him into anything decent then it will be the single most impressive example of player development that I’ve ever seen.
