I'd be interested to see the actual membership package breakdown of all clubs. It would be interesting reading.

I am interested in the geographical breakup of the GWS memberships simply to see how they are resonating in the Greater Western Sydney area in particular (which I believe has a population of around 2 million).

My understanding is it roughly 2/3 Western Sydney : 1/3 Canberra

But growing better in western Sydney than Canberra so the ratio will probably change over time.

A stadium more central to the GWS area certainly would have been preferable, but the current venue is excellent and in the GWS area, albeit on the eastern extreme.

As for the bolded, I couldn't agree more and you do that by engaging with people. Especially those with an existing stake in the game. And they could certainly do better in that department in my view.

I agree, the stadium they are at is excellent. However the Easter Showground lockout does irk me considerably.
The area will only get better as the precinct gets more and more food outlets/bars as a result of the ANZ precinct revamp.

It's been 16 years since the Olympics and its only now that this kind of stuff is being suggested?

Most NSW residents dont follow Aussie Rules at any level, its not like WA where 95% of those who follow our game alreadsy follow a side & most of their next gen will follow the same side.

Lets get GWS to the position of Brisbane, 3 premierships, before a 3rd team fantasy gets any traction.

It irks me no end to hear some average Joe or Josephine Blow state that they played "AFL"
