I think there is genuine chance he leaves now, if the only preventing a move is money the AFL will cough up or we will. The we wont pay for a player to play at another club is a public stance or negotiating tactic but we have shown in the past with the Deledio trade we will pay if it suits, e.g getting in a top end pick, its better he leaves when under contract so we get something back as oppossed to 12 months time for next to nothing.

Hmm I agree looks to be a fair chance he splits ,,,33 next year , has 1-2 good years left and 1-2 more at a pinch . We ll see

He'll see out his contract and then head off to Gold Coast for a couple of years as a forward pocket. The deal will be done on a handshake this year. Will suit all parties.

I come in peace, Dusty is a free agent at the end of next year correct? So if he came it would be as a free agent.

Personally I think and believe he will finish a Tiger and rightly so.

I can see us paying his salary because we have to meet TPP obligations even if we hit the draft hard.

We don't need a excessive bonanza of picks/players but we need something really decent. We can't be treated as chumps and Dusty can't be treated as a chump either

I am not sure what peoples interpretations of bonanza and getting reamed are at. I think picks our preference but they want their picks for the academy so for us it is really picks and/or very young players of quality so they have a real future at RFC so there is no BS story and the prospects for the players coming and the RFC club into the future are very genuine in terms of the vision and how achievable it is

My interpretation of bonanza would be getting lots of really good players for cheap.

And getting reamed would be a kin to getting a pineapple shoved in your butthole whilst not wanting to have a pinapple shoved in your butthole.

Dusty has to do what is in his interests. If he just sticks to that then I am sure Richmond will benefit whatever way it goes.

He could make the difference of a flag or no flag in the next 2 years at Suns. When you turn up to a Grand Final you definitely want him getting off the bus in your colours. I could easily see how the challenge of getting a sporting wasteland its first major success could appeal to a sportsman of Dusty's standing.

If he did decide on a life shagging meter maids without contraceptives our club just needs to see what other opportunities are in that for us. There should be plenty.
