Everyone new he was staying at Richmond the last time Carr pulled this stunt, same when he did it with Cloke and Collingwood!
On the flip side everyone new ablett and Dangerfield were leaving same way everyone knew buddy was leaving (even though they got the club wrong) and everyone knows Shache is leaving! If Martin is leaving, it would be out there by now! In this day and age nothing is really that secret anymore!

Yeah mate, said that all along, nothing will happen till the payment deal is official. You got to keep in mind, Dusty is not the only player we want to keep and also chase after. Might be a very good off season for us.

thats not how that works. He should be paid 450-500, and an extra 50% of that gets to the 700k mark.

Essentially, that puts him on about 100k more than greenwood at collingwood and a bit more than foley too. I think that is about right. He certainly isnt worth close to jack, rance, cotchin or martin, and i dont even like cotchin that much. I dont think any of that is unreasonable.

We havnt offered him $950k, They have said they will wait until season ends and we will wait with our original 800k offer

when carr and dusty are ready and come back to us with their offer from other clubs we will make a counter offer and will probably be $1 mil and leave it at that and if they decide to take another clubs offer we will match and trade
