I don't think we will need to go any higher than a mill. Dusty isn't an idiot, he would know that if we push into the 1.2-1.3 mill territory it would hurt our ability to recruit and push for a premiership. We are close, it's becoming abundantly clear.
When Dusty signed the extension the last time, he said he wants to finish what we started.

Yeah 1.25m is about as high as I hope Richmond go. If north want to destroy their salary cap on one or two players I wish them luck, but it will bite them on their asses. Dusty's not stupid, so I'm not worried. But whatever happens will happen.

Hawthorn coming in with a late offer is the only one to be genuinely scared of imo, they have the cash with players leaving recently and proven track record of success.

All the others either don't have the cash or are a basketcase

apparently their offer is juiced for the first couple of years, that may be where the 1.3-1.5 talk is from

it was reported last week however the $15m combined price on both was approved by the norf board. The norf freaks were fapping over it because they thought it was victory, but it was just the board approving the offers

I think Carlton would be a good fit for Kelly tbh. Cripps shovelling the ball out of the pack to Kelly, Kelly delivering it inside 50 to Weitering (?) and is it Marchbank in defence? Good solid future for the blues, with those three plus that Samo kid as much as it pains me to admit.
