Players like Ford can’t coast, they need to give maximum effort 100% of the time.

I reckon he clearly got a couple of his efforts against Port called out (and rightly so). He hit the first few contests after coming into the game with real venom.

He'll jag a couple sooner or later but can't help but think that his kick up field is the real weapon - need to figure out whether he can get fit enough and smart enough to play between the arcs because I reckon if he can make that work he will slice teams open. Still a lot to figure out about him in our team.
