Jury out obviously. I think you need to be an absolute gun or blistering fast to be a permanent mid sized forward nowadays. I think he has more chance of a long term career if he can be that player capable of being a deep threat whilst pushing hard all the way up the ground to be a linking player. Fitness – as with most – will need a lot of work. Has time though and he is a good mark for his size and very neat. In the right setup I can see him having a future but yeah, work still to be done no doubt.
With more fitness, I think his ceiling is Mason Wood on a wing.

He should be doing everything in his power to get to that sort of fitness.

Could be a superstar if he gets serious and we need him to be after taking Phillip with pick 3
I’m starting to worry about you TAO, you‘re venturing into Caro / Kane territory the way they twist any story to have a crack at North you do the same with Phillips. You can compliment Eddie without bagging Will, these two things are mutually exclusive.

Not certain where his best position is, especially with Zurhaar and George onboard next year. I feel like he's better in the forward half than the defensive. At the very least it isn't a spot we need to worry about, as he has clear potential. It's about time we had a pest who could back it up with football ability too

Ha nah I just say it as it is. We need someone from that draft to stand up.
Eddie is aways off has the tools but will he find the dedication.
Could be a modern day Corey Jones .

But thank you for worrying about me . I appreciate it 😊

Looks to be the pick of the 2020 draft crop at this stage!

Said this after the game. Sadly the last selection looks like the only one who will make it

Should be playing every week but will have some competition with Zurhaar, George, Stevo, Curtis and Sheezel.
Not as much of a match-winner as Zurhaar, but more consist.

Not as skilled as Sleevo but much much more consistent, both in offence and defence.

Has experience. George is practically an unknown.

Is five-times the defensive player than Curtis but doesn’t quite have the same mercurial quality as Curtis.

Different player but objectively inferior to Sheezel in almost every aspect except arrogance and power/speed.

He beat Sicily, Lever and Stewart as a defensive forward, and showed plenty as a wingman.

There’s a clear role for him as a forward utility, or seventh forward.

As the Fox boys were discussing last night, the mark numbers are dominated by defenders now, instead of kpfs. We need Fordy to play on the interceptors.

Look, I think he has made himself a lock with his tricks and versatility. Ideally, I would love for him to be fit enough to be able to play both defensive HF and wing as his skills and marking are superior to most of his teammates. He is also capable of making things happen and more than this, he is just entertaining to watch.

Don’t get me wrong, Ford is starting 18 for me and should only grow with more fitness and size. There is plenty to work with here.
