i recall talking to troy makepeace a while back and he said he was a big wrap for fordy. full year in the vfl likely hasnt hindered his development as it didnt with larkey when he won the liston medal.

Good question. Lowest pick in the national draft but Judd McVee was #18 in the 2021 rookie draft and Jai Culley was overlooked for an entire draft before getting taken with pick #1 in the 2022 MSD.

Eddie is such an exciting prospect.

His sort of athletic profile combined with the touch of a natural footballer, its beyond valuable for us.

He's a one touch player, and he does some stuff that makes you shake your head and double take to see who that was - like leaping for what would normally be a hospital handball, and flicking it off to a teammates' advantage before landing. It's actions like those that release the team into space and create more efficient scoring opportunities.

He's also got the power in his disposal, often off a single step, to get it over the back of a contest to advantage, and the skill and confidence to pick out and hit a corridor option where most in our side don't.

I like him forward, I love him on a wing, he gets up the nose of opponents and hypes up his teammates and the crowd.

I can't sing high enough praises for this kid, and he's a gentleman to boot.
