Yeh could be, its open for interpretations, subjective. Its a pointless exercise because theyre both underwhelming so it doesn’t really matter does it? One good game a year doesn’t cut the mustard, no matter who it is.

I think it's likely they both start in the VFL next year, and they have both shown the potential to dominate at that level. I think both could be solid players at AFL level but really need to reduce the distance between their best and worst performances.

Stephens came on as a sub near the end of the 3rd quarter in that game for context.

I think both have talent it's just about putting it together and that's up to them and the development coaches.

He only plays a quarter , even when he starts

What do you see him doing? As a forward, Curtis and Zurhaar are certifiably ahead of him, and I get the sense we fancy Duursma over him. As a wingman, his tank lets him down a bit, even though I like what he offers there

Needs to pull a rabbit out the hat or he’ll be a depth fringe player on min wages/find himself searching for another club

I think HHF into wing is his best chance from a skillset POV. Whether he can get the running power to do that I'm not sure and time will tell. I think he has a beautiful weighted kick on him and if he can find the tank and brain to work hard up and back in space he could be very useful. Tough to see him getting into that forward line given it is already overstacked with mid sized players.

Really hope it works out for Fordy. Towards the end of 2023 I'd have thought he'd be a lock by now, but he just didn't seem to progress at all this year. Not sure what he needs to do to turn it around - HF seems uber-crowded, but barring injuries it's also hard to see him going past either Scott or Colby on a wing...

I have heard a few times that we want to play Colby on a wing next year. Not sure how reliable but it seems plausible as the centre square can only fit so many players.

Not sure what we are expecting for someone taken #56 in that highly compromised 2020 draft. He was given 18 games this year for an overall tally of 40.

The coaches did the right thing with a 1 year extension. At 22 he has taken a little longer to develop. If Clarko, Barlow and Co can’t get the best out of him this year, then so be it. I think he is a great athlete, team mate and personality to have around the club. If he can get on top of his decision making at critical moments then the sky is the limit for him. A favorite of mine when he is out there, as he is like the proverbial box of chocolates.
