I agree all 5 have shown something. What it shows is that picks inside 30 are so valuable.
At the moment we would have another 3 inside 30 based on our current ladder position. Can we conjure up another 1 or 2?
2 first rounders for aarts should do the trick
We need to ring Dodo

fu** how good was our draft??
Every pick is a gun
It’s insane how good they all look
Recruiters certainly earning their money. I think at this stage I'd probably rank them in the following order:

1. Gibcus
2. Sonsie
3. Banks
4. Clarke
5. Brown

Tad unfair on Brown as he hasn’t played much compared to the others but has been pretty decent when he has played.

He did say "at this stage" - it's not a forever list...........................................

One of them has to be fifth though and Brown has definitely shown the least of a very good bunch.

Tom Brown was, and is the one I'm least enthused about so far.

Obviously ridiculously early so no concerns at this stage of his career, but in terms of player type, still think there were options that maybe suited us better at that pick.

Everyone else though is tracking awesome so far in relation to where they were picked.

Banks is the guy that, if he can put on the size, become and inside outside total mid. Dream result, but so much upside it's incredible. We could have drafted a fair chunk of a top line midfield last year :hearts:

I haven't heard much about his inside game, but apparently he's pretty tough sooo???

Yeah agree. Hard to see how Brown gets a look in for a regular spot in the next few years with our backline pretty relatively young to other areas of the team and so entrenched. Obviously they thought he was the best talent but would've taken another mid.

But all the others look great thus far.

Was a knock when he was drafted, but could just be due to lack of size.

Personally I'd like to see him deployed as a wing. He's a very hard worker, has speed, elite kicking skills and is decent overhead.

Yeah I thought I had heard something like that, but he's not soft is he? So is it a lack of desire, or a lack of size as he's not that small?
