Give him a 1 year deal with the option to extend based on how he goes in 2023. Tell him this is his final chance to show how much he wants this starting with his off-season program. Has not done what he needs to in any off season since he has been with us. Always starts behind the 8 ball.

If he can actually do what the club wants and needs from him, then the club can extend his contract.

The problem with that is we need the lists spots to be opened up
if we factor in the 2 G
GWS boys coming in we only have 1 spot and that will be to upgrade pickett

We would need to delist Martyn , RCD , or trade out Castagna , Soldo or other players

I feel we are def gonna lose a player or 2 in the GWS trade
Be very surprised if we don’t but 🤷‍♂️

I think he should have been played more than he has , but if he has barely got a game the last couple of years it doesn’t look good for him

Martyn is definitely gone, and while I haven't been one of those people that think Stack deserved to be in the team this year (his performances weren't great in the VFL), I'd still rather keep him than RCD, Dow or George.

There's still a lot of potential there - and he's proved it at AFL level.

There was a report in the Oz too on retaining Stacky.
I guess Aartsy and Riley Cee-Dee are goneski.
The Cats had done OK with Stengle, similar position, we should retain Stacky.
Judson and Tyler have cemented their spots.
Judson very capable in the Lions' Bailey mould.
Almost the exact same height.
McCarthy at the Lions was the stand-out for me last year, Bailey has improved this year, medium height forward flanker.
Byee Riley.

RCD might have some trade potential as opposed to Aarts. Might need a player instead of a draft pic to get deals done. He still has potential no matter what some on here might say, clubs would rather that than players with no higher ceiling.

So according to the last 2 pages of this thread he's been delisted, moved back to WA, hasn't been delisted, is still on Melbourne and is moving in with Short.
Dusty off to Sydney
