Player Watch #44: Tyson Stengle [TIGER NO MORE!]

Welcome young man! Watch out Sam Lloyd, your lack of pace may see you demoted to VFL if Bolton and Stengle push on.
Real competition for spots in that forward line. Exciting.
Now we just need to bring in a tall forward such as Scache/Wright and another HF and we have ourselves a forward line.

He's quick. In the first play in the clip below he goes from 0 to 100 and out runs the opposition already at full speed.

Can tackle.

Kid has a few tricks

Love his twists and turns, Specially at the 35 second mark makes the opposition look silly and pin point delivery
He wants to be like Eddie Betts - Well his got his chance to shine

Eddie was a rookie and made his way to be the best small foward in the league, I like it its exciting to have 4 speedsters small fwds at the club now , They will be working really hard and will all want that elusive 2 spots

Ha. Well I'll be buggered.
A mate I work with from S.A and is just a footy addict was talking this bloke up so much a few weeks ago so I was waiting to see where he got drafted and got a big shock to see that he didn't.
I asked him Friday WTF happened to your little aboriginal mate he didn't even get drafted, and he basically went off his nut haha reckoned teams are still loathe to take a punt in the main draft pool on little blokes and rookie them...and bugger me here we are and we take the bloke.
Mate will be livid too as he is a huge Blues man. I just hope he's right but he Really rated him very highly as best out of S.A.
Fingers crossed.
Delicious if he turns out to be the next Eddy Betts and the blues selected a spud the pick before.

Love the way he places the ball to his team mates advantage by foot/hand, gives them every chance to mark.....Delicious!!

Mark him down for a spot in the Dreamtime game.Seems to love playing against the Bombers.

Do you think that as a club with our Indigenous set up and now with X Clarke we are taking more of a risk on the potential of these players as we finally have a set up that could develop them?
Look at X Clarke and the ability he had with NT Thunder it is more of a reason why we took Bolton and Stengle knowing what development X could do and support X could give that may be the difference in us finally getting the potential out of the indigenous players that we have struggled to do since Michael Mitchell and Phil Egan
