Possibly. I think Goofy will still think we can play finals. So this is likely. But AMW at least showed he's not out of his depth. I wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more freedom to his game which he displays in the VFL, but under Goofy it's defence first type of stuff. Hopefully we're building some good solid depth this season by giving these kids a taste.

Thought he had some nice moments. Could be an option to replace McVee if we want to push him into the midfield.

Totally, we need to use this year now, to fast-track our kids as much as they can.
AMW went well I reckon, and certainly deserves more time in the senior team.

Given we play the Eagles this week, I'd give Petty a week off legs, to get his high front of foot ankle sprain, sorted out.

.... It's time to see how Jeffo goes against a fresh off the press Eagles outfit.

Forward-line of Jeffo, JvR, and the smalls, resting Maxy forward when JvR goes into ruck.
Give Jeffo a couple of goes at forward throw-ins, just to see how he looks at it.

Salem slows us down far too much. He along with Lever is a big part of our scoring issues.

We have to slingshot off half back, quicker, as we did in Brisbane. Yes we need our small types pushing back inside f50 quicker... but so be it.
