Mod Notice

The level of vitriol and frankly toxic culture in this thread is getting out of hand. As such, the thread will be monitored actively for posters who drag down the quality of posting for all others, and they will have their access to the thread removed.

Further, reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed. Much like other tropes of that nature, they serves as a conversational barrier and fall-back point for people to simply sling mud. That's unacceptable.

Thanks.

Now go and read the whole thing instead of selectively using the one very exceptional circumstance that allows its use.

The problem with you people is that you are rather loose with the truth.
Beat me to it.

Footnotes are interesting too.

Maybe 8 pages is too long to read in full, just the highlights like Trump does.

You don't respect the right for a patient and their doctor to consent to an unproven drug in an emergency situation? Over the top bureaucrats like you are the problem.
Some would argue you refuse to see any error in any of Trumps judgements, nor any of his failures or incorrect actions.

But hey, that would make them Libtards, right?
Except that just tonight I mentioned multiple errors that Trump has made...

It wasn't a payment, it was an investment. Unlike loans given for gender degrees, the investment made in the great FK was very lucrative!!

And yet here you are trying to educate us plebs and open our eyes to all the good Trump does for...anyone besides himself.

Truly a selfless sacrifice.

I see this comment rates a 'like' from CM86. Someone who repeatedly complains about the standard of dialogue in this thread actually clicked like on this absolute troll like comment. Precisely what alternative universe do you inhabit CM?

That’s nice dear but the same guy also stated that he didn’t think the drug was ready for use with Covid-19.
Dave Burke, owner of Dave’s Pharmacy in Marysville, Ohio and a state senator, estimated four doctors have tried filling hydroxychloroquine prescriptions for themselves or their family members within the past week at his pharmacy.
Burke was surprised by the first prescription he saw. When he received the second, he realized it was a trend. Then he read about Trump touting hydroxychloroquine. He has since stopped filling prescriptions for people he does not know to be taking the drug for conditions like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.

Even Dubbya knew to prepare for these types of things...

"He said, 'Look, this happens every 100 years. We need a national strategy."

Wow, almost to the year.

Two things Dubya got dead to rights.

(The other was after Trump's inauguration speech, when he turned to Hilary Clinton and said "Well that was some weird schitte!")

It's prescription only. If anyone is "panic buying" then they are doing so with a doctor's endorsement. That is the fault of the individual doctor, not Trump. I swear you just throw as many darts as you can at the board and hope one of them lands.

:tearsofjoy:
Um, you know that most scrips have a number of repeats, and you just go to half a dozen different pharmacies and Bob's your uncle?

Starting to see the onflow now of Trumps drug recommendation with people panic buying it, medical facilities pulling prescriptions, etc.

Plenty of stories on Twitter of people who use the drug for autoimmune diseases who wont be getting their prescriptions.

Great work.

Wondering how you panic buy a prescription drug?

Isn't that the way it should be policed.

People who need it and can get it fasted will, then when the drug is stockpiled to treat coronavirus those who still need it but DIDNT get in fast enough will find themselves second in the pecking order.

Not a great position to be in. Imagine if they said insulin was the cure. That would vanish very quickly, leaving a very dangerous situation.
