Specifically: reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed. These are a conversational barrier and fall-back point for people to simply sling mud. That's unacceptable. Personal attacks are also to be kept to a minimum.

And their “history” goes all the way to late 2019.

If they really are the force for evil the poster suggested, they’re bloody good at it too. Hit the ground running!
Their history goes well before that. They are a bunch of very senior Republican from previous administrations or major candidate campaigns (George W. Bush, McCain, Romney) and the RNC.

So, don't let their opposition to Trump confuse you, they are the people who are responsible for the Republican party that created the context in both the country and within the party that allowed for/caused the rise of Trump.

Well duh they're Republicans :)

I'm under no illusions.

But their help is greatly appreciated.

And the symbolism is huge.

Ok so hear me out on this. The latest brouhaha involves Ivanka and Jared threatening to sue the Lincoln Project for making them look bad with their own words in Time Square. Meanwhile, Ivanka is rumoured to be in a love triangle with Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss (I must admit I had to look her up). Rewind a month or so and the biggest trash reality empire of all time, Keeping up with the Kardashians is "wrapping up" with barely a whimper since. This is bigtime their kinda territory.

Kim, Kanye, Donnie...the groundwork is already there.

Get ready for the biggest crossover in TV history.

Trumpy to star in the first season from a 6x8 cell ala George from Arrested Development.

You heard it here first!
The swift - kloss rumours are true, unfortunately for them, Miss Kloss allegedly signed a horrendously bad 12 year "bearding" Contract at 19 years old that ties her to Josh Kushner for a few more years yet. Which also comes with pretending Ivanka is your sister in law.

Biden Strategy
“We are not prepared for a pandemic. Trump has rolled back progress President Obama and I made to strengthen global health security. We need leadership that builds public trust, focuses on real threats, and mobilises the world to stop outbreaks before they reach our shores.”
- Joe Biden Oct 26 2019

Trump strategy
“You know why we have cases? It’s because we test so much. In a lot of ways it’s good, and in a lot of ways it’s foolish.”
- Pres Trump Oct 24 2020

“We’re not going to control the pandemic.”
- White House chief of Staff Mark Meadows Oct 25 2020

Oct 25 - A reporter asks Trump very clearly and audibly, "You called testing 'foolish.' Why would you call it 'foolish' while cases are spreading?"

Trump: "I don't -- I don't -- I can't hear you with your mask on. Thank you very much."

VP Pence, head off Coronavirus Task Force, sees outbreak in his inner circle, continues traveling and campaigning. Contravenes CDC protocols. Says he is an essential worker.

Daily COVID-19 cases: 84,000
43,000 hospitalised
1,000+ Dead

Lets keep it a secret

Mark Meadows, the White House chief of staff, portrayed an outbreak among Vice President Mike Pence’s close advisers as a matter of medical privacy that White House officials were right to try to keep from the public.

The comments came on CNN’s “State of the Union,” as Mr. Meadows sought to dismiss a report published in The Timesabout his effort to contain news about the latest White House outbreak, in which several aides to Mr. Pence, including his chief of staff, have tested positive in the past few days. However, Mr. Meadows did not deny its substance.

“Sharing personal information is not something that we should do, not something that we do actually do — unless it’s the vice president or the president or someone that’s very close to them where there’s people in harm’s way,” Mr. Meadows said.

Mr. Meadows was also pressed by the “State of the Union” host, Jake Tapper, on why Mr. Pence, who had been in close contact with his chief of staff, Marc Short, was continuing to appear at campaign events. Mr. Meadows said that the vice president was performing “essential” duties that exempted him from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines calling for people to quarantine for 14 days after exposure to the virus.

The C.D.C. guidelines allow “critical infrastructure workers” to continue working after a coronavirus exposure as long as they are asymptomatic. Campaigning, however, is not essential work. The guidelines also state clearly that a critical worker who has been exposed to the virus should “wear a face mask at all times,” among other precautions.
