The video posted previously about how he media are complicit in Trump's run seems particularly apt right now. Would the Guardian run a live blog of Kamala Harris interview? They think Trump is 'entertaining', the make vague statements about letting him hoist himself on his own petard but what they are actually doing is promoting him, giving credibility to his nonsense, allowing him to spread lies unchecked. They should be embarrassed by running a live blog on a glorified press release.

So what? My point is, it's not newsworthy, they know he's going to lie, so giving him a platform is not about providing balanced coverage, it's just bad journalism. If people really want to find out what he said, there's plenty of ways to go about it. They don't need to help his election campaign.

If he'd actually been treated properly by journalists and challenged on all his ramblings instead of mollycoddled, he'd have hidden himself away years ago.
