100%. Although he did get Troy Polak wrong. But that was back in the olden days.
There’s a blast from the past. He did have ability though, came in one of our eras of dominance from memory. Then went to Freo I think. Just checked we did and then we traded in Glenn Freeborn and the rest is history ,as they say. So technically he was an astute pick lol

He kicked 4 in one of his first VFL games, and set up a heap of goals early in his first half-year for us. He also had a huge gulf between his best and worst, as you'd expect for someone that raw, and has never been a particularly physical player, as you'd mostly expect for someone his size and with his attributes. He started to put it together at AFL level in the back half of last year, and had strong moments throughout preseason.

The signs were always there that he could be this sort of player, it was just a question of getting his body to the level and building belief. People went way too early in writing him off based on (imo) lazy comparisons to the likes of Narrier and Spicer who never showed a glimpse of Bobby's class.

He is that small nippy forward we need and if he keeps delivering we have found our man

He’s not really playing that role though.

He’s filling the vacuum left by Simpkin and McKercher as the additional mids and playing a real high half forward role emptying the forward line even more.

He’s getting most of his ball between center wing and the F50 arc. Obviously he’s been involved in some important moments i50 also.

He really is getting up and back though. Getting 15 touches a game as a high half forward straight off the bat is very good going

He was timid around the footy and we were all justified in comparing the outcome of his career as one of Will Walker, Spicer etc.. however this year he has shown he can hold the pill and use the ball with poise. Thats an asset none have had
He actually had shown it just in the VFL.

I cant be stuffed looking back, but that those who want to will find my comments made about him during his break out VFL game. He just looked to believe he belonged at that level all of a sudden, was taking the game on and backing himself. He finished that game super strong and left no doubt it was a breakout game, then went on to string a number of good games together earning himself a call up to the senior team.

And yep at AFL level he looked like he did before his VFL breakout game, uncertain. But having witnessed the step up once he believed i was fairly confident he'd do the same at AFL level. TBH its quicker than i thought, figured he'd need longer to find his feet.

Anyone know his nickname - never quite sure what to yell out at the footy.. is it Bobby?
Its bobby dazzler to me. and the hole in one just confirmed it.

I see him celebrate every goal with his teammates especially Larkey.
Brings back fond memories of LT with Petrie. The exuberance and always one of the first on the scene to celebrate.
I've noticed that too. It is absolutely great to see.
He seems to absolutely love this club and appreciate the opportunity he's been given. Hopefully he makes the most of it!

Hahaha so am I. Bastard

The closest I’ve ever come to getting one is when I went out for 9holes by myself after work one day. Landed it 200ml from the hole on a par3 😂 so glad it didn’t go in because it wouldn’t have counted if nobody else seen it!
30 YEARS!!!! 😂 ive come close, ive hit the flag a few times.. he comes along and dunks one? GTFO.. I’ve always said i’d leave my clubs, hat and shoes next to the green, head to the club house for beers and give up that horrible game for good if I ever dunked one

A lot of North players haven't been big celebrators in recent years (which makes sense) but if the team's on the up and there's a guy geeing everybody along like RHj then I can see the guys growing even more in confidence as their excitement levels are built up. I thought he was terrific on Sunday.

He was absolutely great. I was thinking in my head on sunday gees Robbie's going to be a player. I think him and Konstanty can put to bed our small forward woes.

Yeh his enthusiasm was rubbing onto the players and the supporters i reckon. We're going to be some team as our belief grows.
