This isn’t specifically about G but there is an AFLW player at Brisbane who is aiming to return to competitive footy 10 months after doing her ACL in January (so later in this upcoming season will be 10 months).

They also talked a bit about Eric Hipwood doing something similar in the AFL with a 10 month rehab.

So if G can manage that too (and I’m sure she’s trying!) then she shouldn’t miss any preseason next year and could theoretically even play a little VFLW depending on how the seasons line up next year 🤔

🤞All the best to Georgia, love watching her play.

Those guernseys look even worse from the back 😡
I don’t understand why it needs a yoke as a separate panel and the cut of the armhole makes it look a bit too much like a singlet with straps rather than a guernsey without sleeves.

I’m sure the club is lobbying to use under armour guernseys whenever possible though, if not for the sash then I’m sure direct sponsorship of the club would be more lucrative than a locked in cotton on deal for 18 clubs through HQ, and we know that would be motivating 😅

Six weeks post surgery and progressing well :)
Georgia Nanscawen

The inaugural AFLW leadership group member, Georgia is progressing well in her ACL rehab, which she injured in the VFLW Grand Final. She is only six weeks post-surgery so she is in the early stages of rehab.

Wish she was out there playing atm, we could use her at the bottom of the packs fighting for the ball and dishing it out.

I don't think we really have anyone else quite like her in the team.
