Samo vs Cerra in their 3rd seasons (both turned 21, although Samo played the year as a 21yo and Cerra turned 21 after the season ended).
Samo was tracking beautifully in his first three seasons. Perhaps he could have handled his shift to HBF and demotion to the VFL differently, soldiered on and demanded a spot back in the midfield though his actions, but I won't hold anything against him.
Just wish him well, hope he can go on to fulfil his potential, and hope we can get a reasonable return under the circumstances, although we have nobody to blame but ourselves for getting a poor return.

Petruccelle is not a good footballer

And at the moment either is SPS - You get what you can get.
Petruccelle - Later starter to footy, has leg speed and an ability to kick goals. He's 22. Fills a need in our list if he progresses.
Isaac Smith made his AFL debut at 22 years old.

Your thoughts on a suitable trade?

Samo for Brander and an exchange of later shitty picks seems about right.
Both players haven't reached their potential for a variety of reasons and this could be a win/win for both clubs.

Yep, this 'should haver played him in the middle garbage"..... Yet to have the tank to play mid-field otherwise he would have been.
Best thing for him was to push him back and have the ball in front of him whilst he worked on his craft, body & endurance.
For reasons I don't understand, is yet to have any of them ticked off. Has the talent, from afar, appears to lack the application to make the most of those talents.
Hope he becomes the player we expected him to be at WC, seemed a likeable kind.
He played 64 out of a possible 66 games in his first three seasons, primarily as a midfielder, averaging about 76% game time. Where has the talk come from that he didn't have the tank for it?

Not least because it spares both clubs from going to trade week and countenancing galling low offers for their former first-round, "in their prime" wantaways? Works for me!

He's worse than SPS, 4 years in and he averages less than a goal a game, 10 touches a game, and a touch over a tackle a game. That's really really poor, honey is doing the exact same already but with more upside.

Watch him become a 25+ disposal, 1 goal a game midfielder over there.

It's going to hurt seeing him in WCE colours, not gonna lie.
when we finally establish the missing link at our club (can you guess?) there will no longer be any danger of what you are suggesting.......
