That front on vision looks like his shoulder hit his cheek. The week will stand.
Yeah the front on vision definitely changes the situation

Think it was a fair bump but the afl were clear on bumps at the start of the year especially if they make contact to the head

Yet in the same round - this happens

Higgins Hit - where a Higgins get the same whiplash effect and his head hits the shoulder and he ends out with concussion. They're saying it was from a marking contest earlier in the game, but having seen that contest, if Higgins got concussed from that he was some serious issues.

Contact is clearly to the shoulder in the higgins hit, where Picketts is to the head based on the other angle

That’s like it or not that is the difference between the two

My glasses are to strong I guess.
Just going by what I see in the footage of both incidents, didn’t think Pickett had anything to worry about until the footage of the other angle came out this morning
Picketts shoulder clearly makes contact with the face

According to the AFL, the ideal model footballer is Dylan Shiel

sadly.....all players, all coaching staff and 100% of all supporters want exactly what pickett has done and clear a path for his team mate in a vital play if it was in the last quarter of a grand final.

it was not dirty, no jumping off the ground, it was not late and player got up and played on unaffected.

Much as though I’ve little time for Shiel, Parker is a complete flog for doing what he did. Worst part was the fact that none of Shiel’s teammates got into Parker. Imagine if that weak act was directed at one of our blokes, he’d be lucky to get off the ground alive imo

I loved it, need more sledging back in the game between players
Shiel shat himself and Parker made sure he reminded him

If Shiel was a better player he would of made Parker eat his words

Good move really, it's pretty much just a blind throw at the dartboard to see what the result is
Hopefully the medium impact, though a new guideline for the MRO, can still be argued down at the tribunal
Yeah, got to hammer the outcome from the incident
No injury’s and both players played for the rest of the game

Truck took all of the lovey dovey stuff from the tigs but forgot all the 'be good at football' bits

Having a new angle doesn't necessarily make it more accurate.. play them side by side real time and you'll probably find that the "head contact" is perspective.
It's the same as a front on score review. Doesnt tell you shit til you get the context from other angle.

The angle Sam Edmund shared is a front on with no perspective or depth

Moore's body dipping is irrelevant, if you choose to bump, you must ensure that you don't make contact with the head, doesnt matter what the other player does.
Normally I'd agree with you about the impact call, but if new guidelines are that any high bumps are automatically categorised as Medium, then you've already lost the argument.

And that's where this whole argument sux, automatically categorised as medium impact when it was in fact low impact. They are slowly turning this game into a non-contact sport. Anyways, I await what the club will do if in they decide to challenge.

EDIT: Just noticed the club is appealing.

I thought it was piss easy money when I had Dylan @20+ possessions in a game a few weeks ago, he wandered around the ground at half pace like it was a Sunday picnic and picked up about 18 soft touches in a 4 goal loss, talking thru my pocket, but no wonder Essendon are going so bad.

Agree with the Essendon bit. No fight for the ball, or for each other.
Not many teams care for each other like we do. No one is left out to dry.
Was a terrible look for Essendon, but what Parker did, I am ok with.
