Totally agree. In his AFL games he seemed to be misjudging the ball when he tried to take intercept marks. Probably simply not used to playing on better opponents who can judge the flight of the ball as well as he can. I would still like to see him tried forward. Guys that can take one grab marks are hard to find, and we desperately need a guy like that in our forward line. Seems like the only guy on our list that could be a genuine fill-in for Lynch.

Happy with this. With Young out until mid next year and with Rioli out the door, going to be interesting to see how we line up in defense. Reckon Blight will get a good run in the 1s after a full preseason and we are going to know pretty quickly whether we have a player.
He’s a 207cm developing ruckman who is right where he is expected to be and has shown good signs at vfl level. He could develop into a good player

It's actually better for him getting 1 year. Get's to prove himself and end up with more money or if he fails we don't have money wasted eg Kozzy.
