I hope you are right. Would love to see the backline able to be constructed around Miller, Balta, Blight and Gibcus. A few more years for Vlas and then a youngster (e.g. Banks) stepping up to fill the last spot. This assumes Riolo goes to the Suns and we find another spot for Short.

Weird decision to leave Blight out this week. Has shown he is good enough ATM IMHO, so would think they'd play him at every opportunity.

I wouldn't have dropped him, but he was plain awful last week. Regardless, I would sooner play him the rest of the year, at worst he's no good, at best, his development is fast tracked.

I'm thinking with 4 vfl games left,he needed to.play vfl to qualify for finals.
This would explain this situation.
