Nah not at all, should go for the guys that best fit and I think you are doing that just dont expect too much from these guys they are not going to make you premiers is all I meant.

I love that people are bagging us for having a 'drug cheat' on our team. We're going to have 12 next year. Might as well get it all out of their systems this year, and it's not like people don't dislike Crowley already anyway.

Hopefully everyone gets it out of their system this year and next year runs a bit smoother.

He's a great pick up. People might dislike his tactics, but he's there to do a job. I hope to see him be given a bit more free reign in the midfield as a leader and the most experienced in there.

My thoughts exactly! We'll go through all this sanctimonious bullshit now - AND AGAIN next year when the boys come back.

Not only that I'm sure it will be sprinkled with hypocrisy from the clubs that may pick up a free agent Essendon player that has walked. There will be no negative mention of why [insert club here] has recruited a 'drug cheat'. It will be all about second chances etc etc!

It's actually laughable if it didn't ****ing piss me off so much!

I just want you guys to know how much of a good bloke Crowley really is...

One time I went to Freo oval to watch a training session with a mate and his 4 year old daughter. She was so excited to see all the players and possibly meet a couple. At the end of the session they all signed one or two things and talked a little bit. Crowley however noticed my mates daughter had the 15 on her jumper. He came up to her, signed it, talked to us for a minute before (as 4 year olds do) the girl blurted out "I love you Ryan Crowley!". He laughed at that and then asked her for a quick kick to kick and run around. This was after a training session. There was no cameras or news outlets, he did this because he's a top bloke. He spoke to us about normal stuff (best place for coffee, secret fishing spots etc) and was just a genuine, down to earth bloke and made this girls life complete (from memory she still has a Crowley poster in her room 3-4 years on).

Well done Essendon! You've picked up an absolute gun of a bloke and a player. I seriously hope he plays all the games for you guys and gets a contract extension. He's one the hardest working and deadset loyal blokes you'll ever have at your club.

Im here cause my son is a mad bombers fan and I like to stick my head in to see what you guys are talking about and speaking to my son about it. I wish no ill will.

He got a bit carried away with the signing yesterday and with these Wrestling videos and I guess I came in and saw some of the stuff written on here and just thought you guys were putting the cart before the horse as they say.

he is not a bad pick up and should strengthen you guys for the year, hope you guys look at Kelly and Dwyer these guys have a point to prove as well but Im sure your club will make the right decisions for the near future.

If my comments cause angst I apologise, like I said cause of my son Im one of those rare Collingwood Supporters that now has a soft spot for your club and hate to see that a few idiots have taken your club so low but you guys seem to have the right people in the right places at the moment and have no doubt that in a few years I will be back hating you guys when your rise back up the ladder.

Anyway ill try to keep my noise out and just read from now on.
