Needs a trigger warning. This bloke killed us every single time we played the Swans.
You should have seen what he did to me when he played for Wagga Tigers as a kid. It wasn't pleasant I can assure you!

The fact you were 35 and he was 7 makes it all the more impressive
In a reverse scenario, another Brownlow medalist, Paul Couch (RIP) was about 7, playing for Nirranda South under 17s (I think it was south) against my team. They played pretty much their entire u14s to make up the numbers. They hadn't scored and the ball somehow got near to young Couchy not far from the goals. As he went to pick up the ball, one of our guys leapt clear over him. The ump paid a free and Couchy scored a behind which was his team's only score for the day.

All I'm saying is that I got more kicks that day than a future Brownlow medalist.

And some people thought I couldn't football. Phewey to them.

No I was saying cunners should have been trying to train early with the younger boys after missing a year

To give him the best chance of doing well this year

Shock horror I was right again and he was miles off it
Actually, your original point was about him coming back early to set standards / ‘set an example’ for the younger players.
